Expert to transform thinking about belonging and inclusion
HOW can you build an inclusive welcoming community where no one is left behind?
Cormac Russell, Founding Director of Nurture Development and faculty member of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Institute at DePaul University, believes neighbourhoods are the most important unit of change.
Hosted by Resourcing Inclusive Communities, Cormac is coming from Ireland to deliver the workshop Community: Where Belonging Begins – Strengthening Communities and Discovering Everyday Neighbourhood Assets.
Time and date: 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 14 August (with optional networking session until 6.30pm).

A hands-on community mapping activity will uncover the people, places and assets that help Parramatta thrive, giving you practical tools to do the same in your own neighbourhood.
