THE Insurance Council of Australia is calling for stronger Right to Repair laws requiring vehicle manufacturers to sell genuine parts to independent repairers on fair terms. CEO Andrew Hall said restricted access increased repair costs and delays and could result in otherwise repairable vehicles being written off, ultimately contributing to higher insurance premiums for Australian motorists.
