Rouse Hill student, 14, publishes first book
A YEAR 9 student from Rouse Hill Anglican College has achieved an impressive literary milestone, officially publishing her first book at just 14 years of age.
Rileen Sharma recently released The Life She Never Planned through the BriBooks Program, with the book now available for purchase on Amazon.
Written independently by Rileen, the book explores reflections on life and family inspired by her close relationship with her maternal grandmother, affectionately known as Nani. The young author’s work has been praised for its maturity, sensitivity and deeply personal storytelling.
The achievement has become a proud moment for the Rouse Hill Anglican College community, which says Rileen’s success reflects the creativity and talent being nurtured among students.
School representatives said Rileen’s accomplishment would inspire other young people to pursue their passions with confidence and purpose.
The school, which has more than 1,700 students, congratulated Rileen on the publication and said it looked forward to seeing her continue to grow as a writer and young author.
